The coroner has identified the two men who were shot and killed Sunday afternoon in New Orleans’ Tulane-Gravier neighborhood.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of North Johnson Street, near Canal Street, and found two men with gunshot wounds, along with illegal drugs at the scene. Both men were pronounced dead.
On Wednesday, the Orleans Parish Coroner identified the men as Xavimen Decquir, 36, and Nicholas Fayard, 42.
Investigators have not released any information about possible suspects or a motive.
