An Alabama man was sentenced to nearly 1,000 years in prison after he made home videos of himself sexually abusing, sodomizing, and raping a child under the age of 12.
Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Presiding Judge Amanda Baxley sentenced 48-year-old Jason Hudson to a total of 965 years behind bars.
The judge ordered the sentences to run consecutively which means he must complete one sentence before he begins serving time on the next conviction.
“I am so thankful for real life heroes,” said District Attorney CJ Robinson.
“The victim in this case is truly a survivor who was extremely brave for coming forward and never hesitating to confront her abuser.”
