The Toronto Blue Jays fell one game short of the World Series this year, but they're at risk of taking massive steps backward in the offseason.

Blue Jays superstar infielder Bo Bichette is headed for free agency, and the team can't afford to lose him. There are bound to be a lot of suitors at play for Bichette, but Jim Bowden of The Athletic recently projected Bichette would sign for $189 million this winter, which would cut down many of the potential landing spots.

Bleacher Report's Erik Beaston recently predicted Bichette would return to the Blue Jays in free agency this winter, which would be a huge victory for Toronto.
