CANTON, Ohio — A Buffalo Bills fan favorite has been named a semifinalist for the Seniors category for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Steve Tasker has been announced as one of the nine semifinalists for the Seniors category Wednesday. The Seniors Blue-Ribbon Committee, who votes on the category, has chipped down a list of 162 nominees all the way down to nine, and three finalists will be named for the 2026 class.
Tasker, who played for the Bills from 1986 to 1997, is the only special teams player still on the ballot.
The committee will come together November 25 to discuss who will be among the three finalists, with an announcement planned for early December. The finalists for the Class of 2026 will be announced at the NFL Honors ceremony before the Superbowl in February
