MADISON (WKOW) – Madison College has opened its new $10.3 million Construction & Remodeling Facility at the Truax North Campus. The facility, which spans 30,000 square feet, is designed to provide hands-on learning and innovation for future builders.
Dr. Beth Giles, Madison College provost, emphasized the significance of the new space during a ribbon-cutting event on Nov. 19.
“This new facility at Truax campus represents so much more than bricks and mortar—it represents opportunity, innovation, and our unwavering commitment to student success,” Giles said.
The facility features two large workshops for training in various construction techniques, a modern computer lab, classrooms, and a dedicated power tool and safety lab.
