LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Even after President Donald Trump signed U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie's (R-Kentucky) bipartisan bill to force the U.S. Department of Justice to release all its Jeffrey Epstein-related files, speculation still surges over whether the documents will wind up heavily redacted once made public.
But in a 7-minute phone interview, Massie, speaking from Washington, told WHAS11 that he doesn't see this being a problem because of the specific language in his legislation, which swiftly passed through both the U.S. House and Senate on Tuesday.
"They could try to mitigate the release by, for instance, opening investigations in certain areas, but the legislation only allows for very narrowly tailored exemptions to the releases, and the exemptions can only be temporary," Massie said on Wed
