But … six wins. It’s hard to get too excited about a blowout victory when you’re still stuck at the bottom of the standings.
In what has been a frustrating fall, the Flames at least had lots to smile about Wednesday as they rolled to a 6-2 pick-me-up against the Sabres in Buffalo.
You could tell it was their night when Matt Coronato chopped a shot that was deflected high off the glass, only to bounce off the back of the opposing goaltender and dribble in.
