Islamabad: Pakistan’s defence minister Khawaja Asif has warned that the country cannot rule out the possibility of a war with India, saying the armed forces are on full alert as tensions continue to rise between the two neighbours.

Speaking in a recent interview, Asif said Pakistan must stay prepared for any future conflict, claiming that India could attempt large scale military action, including border incursions. He added that Pakistan is not ignoring any threat and cannot afford to trust India under the current circumstances.
