Agents yarded about 300 head, with a limited number of heifers and steers on offer.
Despite the lighter numbers, Milling Stuart agent Jamie Stuart, Dunedoo, said local buyers chased the quality lines, driving confidence in the market.
"The market would have been fully firm, as heifers and steers sold very well," he said.
"Cows with calves would have been fractionally dearer than the last sale."
