A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 70-year-old man with dementia and Alzheimer’s in Huntington Station on Thursday, Nov. 20, Suffolk County police announced.
Lawrence Davis, 70, left his home on Columbia Street in Huntington Station on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at approximately 1 p.m. and drove away in a white Hyundai Accent with New York license plate KNB 5540, according to police.
Davis is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and about 145 pounds with white hair, police said. He was last seen wearing a light blue sweater over a white collared shirt, according to the release.
Anyone with information on Davis’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252, police said.
Silver Alert is a program in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about missing individuals with special needs who have been reported missing, according to police.
