Pakistan's government has approved a PKR 50 billion supplementary budget for its armed forces, aimed at bolstering international border security, upgrading naval bases, and protecting the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) allocated PKR 39 billion to the military and nearly PKR 11 billion to the navy for these initiatives.
