“Blue Eyed Girl” is the semi-autobiographical first film Marisa Coughlan has written, produced and stars in.

Which means it’s no accident that this “Girl” is set in Minneapolis, her hometown.

A working actor if not a star (“Super Troopers”), Coughlan, 51, knows not just the territory but how to entice a veteran like Beau Bridges to her independent film: Write an irresistible role as a dying patriarch with three grown daughters!

“Blue Eyed Girl” has Coughlan’s Jane Messina coming to Minnesota from her LA base. She’s left hubby (Freddy Rodriguez) and the kids to care for her ailing dad, bond with her sisters and run into the teenage love (Sam Trammell) which makes her question all that she’s done and all that she has.
