A coin minted to commemorate the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana is being listed for a whopping £10,000 online. The Royal Mint created a historic 25p piece in honour of their 1981 wedding, although the coin itself does not bear any denomination.
This was the first instance of three individuals being depicted on a British coin, with the reverse featuring conjoined profiles of the Royal couple. Now, one rare coin collector has issued a warning after spotting the coin listed for an eye-watering £10,000.
Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, the user, known as @CoinCollectingWizard, informed his 36,500 followers: "I came across this news article regarding the coin being worth £10,000 and I could not believe it."
