Police are investigating a hit-run incident at an Adelaide laundromat, where a vehicle crashed into the business, narrowly avoiding a cleaner and a child.
The incident occurred at approximately 8pm yesterday, resulting in significant damage to the premises on Yorktown Road in Elizabeth Park.
The cleaner, who requested anonymity, described the experience as deeply unsettling.
"I'm still in shock," the woman who narrowly avoided injury said.
"I'm very lucky."
The vehicle, a Holden sedan, not only struck the laundromat once but reversed and rammed the building again before fleeing the scene.
"Maybe he accidentally (did) this," the cleaner, who wished to remain anonymous, said.
"I'm not sure what's happened with him… because he hit (the building) a few times."
