A bank assistant manager in Bhandara staged a robbery at his own branch to clear off his mounting debt. He stole Rs 1.58 crore to settle mounting gambling debts due to his online betting habits. The manager used insider knowledge and online tutorials to attempt a cover-up, but his scooter helped police to catch him in a day.
