New Delhi: Russia has proposed an expansive defence cooperation plan to India ahead of President Vladimir Putin’s visit next month, offering full access to the technology behind its fifth-generation Su-57 stealth fighter. The proposal includes initial deliveries of Russian-built jets followed by a phased shift of production to India, potentially transforming India’s future fighter aircraft capabilities.

Rostec chief Sergey Chemezov said at the Dubai Air Show 2025 that Moscow is ready to open the entire Su-57 ecosystem to India. This includes the transfer of engine technology, stealth materials, sensors and other key components
