Augusta can expect cooler temperatures this holiday week and likely chances of some rain later in the forecast.
“Changes are going to start coming in as we get closer to the middle of the week,” said Chris Liscinski, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Columbia, South Carolina. “We're going to have a cold front that's going to be approaching the region.”
Liscinski said there’s a chance of precipitation in the forecast as a front moves in on Wednesday night. Then, temperatures will start to drop.
