Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said to have solved a theft Case by arresting accused arrested & recovered stolen property in Kulgam district.

A Police spokesperson said, “On 22-08-2025, one applicant Abdul Hameed Sheikh son of Mohd Ramzan Sheikh resident of Rangrezpora Kulgam approached police station Kulgam with a written complaint that an incident of ATM card exchange and fraudulent cash withdrawal took place with him at J&K Bank, Main Branch Kulgam.”

Subsequently, In this regard, FIR No. 90/2025 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Kulgam, and investigation was taken up.

During the investigation, CCTV footage and other digital evidences were collected. The suspect was seen with his face masked and wearing a cap, due to which his identity
