Often referred to as the ‘first family’ of Bollywood, the Kapoor clan is here to delve into their filmy stories and personal anecdotes over a hearty meal. Their new show, Dining With The Kapoors, will be available on Netflix soon. While the show features all extensions of the Kapoor clan, fans quickly noticed that Alia Bhatt was missing from the show. Now, the real reason behind her absence has been revealed.

The show’s creators, Armaan Jain and Smriti Mundhra, recently had a chat with Bollywood Hungama and were quizzed about Alia’s absence from the show. Armaan said, “She had prior commitments to shoot. I might sound filmy, but like Raj Kapoor said, ‘work is worship’." Smriti added, “That is the one thing about this family. They are all workaholics, and they all love what they do."
