A video captures the terrifying moment flames can be seen coming from a university building roof. Emergency services were called to the University of Warwick campus around 9pm on Wednesday night.

Crews from across Coventry were on hand to tackle the blaze believed to have been started accidentally while cooking in the Arthur Vick 1 student accommodation building. The fire was extinguished and luckily it is understood no one was injured.

A student living in the building opposite captured the moment the building was engulfed by flames on video. It shows residents watching as flames lick out from the roof while firefighters battle to bring the inferno under control with water.
