THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman from Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram, is under police surveillance for coercing her 16-year-old son to join ISIS. The young woman, a nurse in the UK, arrived in Kerala two weeks ago. The NIA also started an investigation to eke out more of her information. A case was registered under the UAPA in the incident. The investigation is being led by the Attingal DySP.
It is reported that the woman forced her son to join ISIS through a native of Vembayam whom she met in England.
