John Higgins launched a scathing attack on the conditions at the Riyadh Season Snooker Championship following his second round victory.
The ' Wizard of Wishaw ' advanced to the quarter-finals in Saudi Arabia with a 4-0 thrashing of Ding Junhui, in a match that saw both players struggle in the opening period.
Ding managed just 47 points in the four frames, while Higgins also looked far from his best to begin with.
Eventually the Scot found form, putting together back-to-back 106 breaks in the final two frames to win by a convincing scoreline.
And Higgins insisted afterwards that the playing conditions made things much harder than they should have been.
After the match, the four-time world champion admitted he had been far from impressed with the set-up.
