NORTH VERNON, Ind.– The North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) made two arrests in connection with an active arrest warrant on Wednesday, November 19

At approximately 1:00 p.m., officers with the North Vernon Police Department spoke with a male at a residence who they believed to have an active warrant.

During the encounter, the individual provided officers with a false name. He was eventually identified as Donald Friley, 58, of Butlerville. Friley was confirmed to have an active Failure to Appear warrant out of Decatur County related to an original charge of larceny. He was taken into custody without incident.
