TRAVERSE CITY — More than $10.4 million in water and sewer budgets are set for 2026 for the five townships that comprise Grand Traverse County’s Board of Public Works.

The BPW last week unanimously approved operational budgets totaling $10,433,472 for next year for the water and sewer systems in Garfield, East Bay, Acme and Peninsula townships, and Elmwood Township in Leelanau County that are administered by the county’s Department of Public Works.
