New England Patriots star wide receiver Stefon Diggs is dealing with a painful injury that warrants close monitoring in the coming weeks.

Stefon Diggs’ first season with the Patriots (9-2) couldn’t have gone much better thus far. He’s having another Pro Bowl-caliber season (59 catches, 659 yards and three touchdowns) and has the Pats on the verge of their first AFC East division crown since 2019.

Diggs has played an instrumental role in Drake Maye’s breakout season, emerging as the second-year quarterback’s most trusted target. Diggs is on pace to finish with his seventh 1,000-yard season, a mark he hit four times with the Buffalo Bills.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Diggs surprisingly revealed that he has been nursing a broken finger, according to Sophie Weller of Patriots Wire.
