The US added 119,000 jobs in September, topping the estimate of 51,000, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The unemployment rate ticked up to 4.4%. Hourly earnings rose 0.2% from the prior month. The September jobs report was delayed due to the government shutdown. Bloomberg's Michael McKee reports.
