SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - On Saturday, Nov. 15 the Remsen St. Mary’s girls basketball team was involved in a tragic car accident , hospitalizing three of their seven basketball players.
“When you think of basketball, its family, and its not just family within your team,” said Forrer. “We just wanted to show support to those Remsen St. Mary’s girls”
Now, support in every way, from everywhere, is pouring in.
“It’s a no brainier for us to be doing that,” said the president of Briar Cliff University, Matt Draud.
Some schools hosting coin drives.
Many schools wearing RMS’s school color, blue. Woodbury Central is among those schools. They were scheduled to play Remsen St Mary’s on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
