BROOKLYN, Mich. (WILX) - Christmas is on its way, bringing with it the return of the annual ‘Nite Lites’ show at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). This year marks the event’s 30th anniversary.

Nite Lites began in 1996 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds as a roughly half-mile display.

Over the past decade, the show has transitioned to MIS, where the expanded space has allowed organizers to grow the attraction into a nearly 7-mile experience.

Owner John Spink said watching the display evolve over the years has been one of the highlights of his career.
