A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday for much of central Pennsylvania. Hazardous travel conditions are possible as areas of dense and freezing fog reduce visibility.
The fog will gradually lift by midday Thursday, giving way to partly to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching the mid-40s across the Harrisburg area. These temperatures are near to slightly below normal for late November.
Conditions will become cloudy overnight with pockets of fog returning and temperatures about 10 degrees warmer than Wednesday night.
