Two men were arrested and charged with human trafficking after a stabbing and crash Wednesday on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Franklin County, state police said.

Edgar Jesus Espinoza Gamboa, 28, of Denver, Colorado, and Jose Antonio Hernandez Guiterrez, 30, were charged with human trafficking, simple assault and terroristic threats. Guiterrez’ hometown was not provided by police.

Police said they had been in a vehicle with a female who did not know them. She was being taken to Philadelphia, where she was going to be forced into sexual activity and was threatened if she resisted, police said.
