Days after Shourya Patil, a 16-year-old Class-X student of the St Columba School of New Delhi died by suicide following months of harassment, the deceased student reportedly had informed a school counsellor about his suicidal thoughts, according to the students of the school reported NDTV.
The unfortunate incident took place on Tuesday (November 18) afternoon. On Tuesday afternoon, Shourya Patil, still in his school uniform, went straight from his school in central Delhi to a metro station, and jumped from a high platform. The crowd called the police immediately, who found the 16-year-old boy's schoolbag, with what appeared to be a handwritten suicide note.
