HARPERS FERRY -- The strains of "A Joyful Doxology" filled the Chapel of St. Peter at St. James the Greater Catholic Church on Tuesday night.
The piece featured a medley of three classic Christian songs -- Thomas Ken's "The Doxology," Charles Wesley's "O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing" and Henry van Dyke's "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee" -- arranged by David Winkler. A program of fourteen other sacred songs followed it, played by the newly established Praise Symphony Orchestra.
