Mumbai: Amid dating rumours and Karan Johar’s recent statement on Sania Mirza’s chat show which fuelled speculation, ‘Saiyaara’ star Ahaan Panday confirmed that co-star Aneet Padda is not his girlfriend.

Putting an end to speculation over his offscreen relationship with Aneet, Ahaan stated that she is just a good friend and he is single. ADVERTISEMENT

Addressing the rumours, Ahaan said in an interview with GQ India, “Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not.”

He further explained, “Chemistry isn’t always romantic — it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen. We’ve both made each other feel that… Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet.”
