A man is accused of killing “King of the Hill” voice actor Jonathan Joss.
The Associated Press reported this week that allege Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, 57, confronted Joss and his husband as they were checking their mail at their San Antonio home in June.
Joss’ husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, has claimed the person who killed the actor yelled “violent homophobic slurs” before opening fire , but police have not indicated if his death will be considered a hate crime.
Ceja Alvarez was indicted by a grand jury on Monday. He is free on a $200,000 bond.
A friend of the 59-year-old Joss has said that Joss and Ceja Alvarez were neighbors and the two had argued for years, according to the Associated Press.
Joss, who has Native American ancestry, voiced John Redcorn on the hit Fox show
