Chris Gaither's name is synonymous with the Collins High School boys basketball program , but the veteran coach's status is uncertain as the Titans' 2025-26 season opener approaches.

Gaither and his attorney Mark Dean confirmed Thursday morning that Gaither was suspended, with pay, as a teacher and coach at Collins during a meeting on Monday.
