Highs will reach the lower to mid 70s today here in the Chattanooga Metro area. More rainfall is on the way late this afternoon and into the overnight hours tonight. Some isolated areas may experience flooding risks due to pockets of rain. Showers and rumbles of thunder will continue off and on heading into the next couple of days.
Showers are likely overnight Friday through early Saturday morning, but drier conditions are expected Saturday afternoon through Sunday. Rain chances will pick back up at the start of next week.
