MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Sheriff's Office has declared 42-year-old Laurel Alexander AWOL after she removed her GPS bracelet.

The alert was issued just after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Sheriff's deputies said they were monitoring the program when they received an alert from her GPS bracelet. Upon checking, they found her tracker bracelet left behind.

Officials reported that her last known location was in the East Terrace Drive area in Madison, and she may be driving a white 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer.
