LIKE so many music lovers and creators across the length and breadth of Scotland, I am mystified at the BBC’s decision to deprive its loyal listenership of one of the most identifiable and best-loved voices in Scottish broadcasting, Iain Anderson, while robbing our artistic community of one of the last national radio programmes to properly showcase and promote the work, creativity and passion of the grassroots musicians, songwriters and producers across the entire nation and beyond, while at the same time introducing us to the best of new and well-known music from all around the world.
