CHANTILLY, Va. — Washington Gas is on scene at an elementary school in Chantilly for a reported gas leak.
According to a spokesperson with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, crews were called to Brookfield Elementary School on Thursday for a reported gas leak.
The gas leak was reported shortly after 10 a.m. As of 11:45 a.m., no injuries to students have been reported.
Washington Gas crews are at the school to investigate the leak. So far, no information has been released regarding the cause of the leak.
An FCPS spokesperson tells WUSA that the school was evacuated and students are being relocated.
