Piers Morgan has issued an apology on This Morning following a significant on-air gaffe. ‌

The former Good Morning Britain presenter was engaged in a heated debate with guest Ashley James about the patriarchy, alongside hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley . ‌

However, as his fervour escalated, he made a major blunder by swearing on air, uttering "bulls**t". ‌

He instantly recognised his error, covering his mouth with his hand and apologising.

The Uncensored host had been debating with Ashley about men crying in front of their mates and toxic masculinity, reports Wales Online .

"What's wrong with being tough and manning up?" Piers had queried, to which Ashley retorted: "That is not a masculine trait!" ‌
