The post came just as England are set to take on Australia for the first Test in Perth, along with a public service announcement aimed at the 40,000 English fans expected to travel for the tour. The Australian Border Force posted a picture of Bairstow’s controversial stumping at Lord’s, which ignited Ashes series of 2023 in England.
