TOWN OF RANDOLPH, Wis. (WMTV) - Multiple agencies worked together Thursday to arrest a homicide suspect in Columbia County.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office explained the tactical operation took place around 9 a.m. at a home in the Town of Randolph, near Village of Cambria.
Officials told nearby homes and Cambria-Friesland Schools to shelter in place as a precaution during the arrest. Area roads were also shut down for about an hour.
Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect was arrested, and there is no danger to the community.
The department did not identify who the suspect was or where the homicide took place.
