The legal dispute around late businessman Sunjay Kapur ’s estate saw another important exchange in the Delhi High Court after his wife, Priya Kapur, defended the contents of his will. She told the court through her counsel that it is a healthy tradition for a husband to leave all his assets to his wife. The statement came soon after Karisma Kapoor ’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, raised fresh objections over the document. Both are seeking a one-fifth share each from their father’s estate.

Priya’s side argued that the practice existed in the Kapur family long before Sunjay drafted his own will.
