ARKANSAS CITY, Kan (KAKE) - The Arkansas City Police Department recognized the hard work and bravery of Master Police Officer Shannese McIntosh after saving a child's life.

On November 12, 2025, Officers responded to a call involving an unresponsive 6-week-old baby. "MPO McIntosh immediately took action, performing CPR and giving the infant every possible chance," police say on Facebook.
