President Donald Trump’s approval rating in this week’s polls is continuing to nosedive.
A new Fox News poll , released Wednesday, showed that Trump’s approval rating hit a new low of his second term, including record-high negative marks among his core supporters, driven by discontent with the economy and uncertainty of his administration’s policies.
According to the poll, 76% of voters disapprove of the economy — a nine-point drop from 67% in July and the 70% who said the same at the end of former President Joe Biden’s term. The plummet is powered by large numbers, including among Republicans, who see the cost of groceries, health care, utilities and housing increasing this year, the poll found.
Compared to a year ago, voters say costs have risen for utilities (78%), housing (66%)
