Sardar Jagar Singh, a distinguished officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the Odisha cadre, 1976 batch, passed away yesterday at the age of 75. He had been briefly ill and was hospitalised for a few days before his demise.
Born on April 5, 1950, Sardar Jagar Singh was a highly respected figure in the bureaucracy, renowned for his long and dedicated service to the state of Odisha. “He was a highly respected member of the bureaucracy, known for his long and dedicated service to the state,” said Shri Jayant Kumar Dev, his batch mate and close friend.
