Vicky Lynn Nix Hathcock was born on February 16, 1952, in Muscatine, Iowa, to her loving parents, Arthur F. Nix and Virginia M. Ballenger. She grew up in a home filled with warmth, faith, and a strong sense of family. At the age of fourteen, she moved with her family to Orem, Utah, where she continued to grow into the compassionate, determined person so many would come to rely on.
From a young age, Vicky was known for her caring nature.
