Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi, a meeting held against the backdrop of the financial constraints currently facing the Union Territory, officials said.

According to the official X handle of the chief minister’s office, the two leaders discussed key developmental priorities for Jammu and Kashmir. “The meeting focused on strengthening infrastructure, boosting investment and ensuring continued financial support for welfare-driven initiatives in J&K,” the office said.
