Shopian, Nov 20: Under the aegis of the Civic Action Programme (CAP), Police in Shopian organized a Cricket Tournament for Tribal Youth at Chotipora Heerpora. The tournament, which commenced on Nov 15, 2025, concluded on Thursday with a colorful closing ceremony.

The tournament was inaugurated by SSP Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary. The final match was played between Mughal Warrior Heerpora and Devpora Stars with Mughal Warrior Heerpora emerging victorious by 15 runs. During the final match ceremony, SSP Shopian distributed cash prizes and trophies among the winners and runners-up.
