KINGSLAND, Ga. (WCSC) — The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the woman who was killed following a domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend.

Laury Villalobos Soler, 34, of Venezuela, died on the scene at her apartment on Dorchester Road, Coroner Brittany Martin said.

The ex-boyfriend, Luis Oscar Ocanto, 38, is accused of killing the woman at her apartment on Monday and then stealing her car, according to North Charleston Police spokesman Harve Jacobs.

An officer with the Kingsland, Georgia, Police Department stopped the car Ocanto was driving there for speeding and ran the license tag. The vehicle came up as being reported stolen from North Charleston, police said.
